The Maryland Corn Maze

This place was small and compact but packed with activities!

I loved that we didn’t have to walk far, and we could always keep an eye on Apollo which made for a stress-free visit where we could relax and let the kids enjoy themselves.

fall harvest farms tickets

We could have stayed here all day, and the kids would never have gotten bored!

The corn maze was a highlight, being both super fun and perfectly sized.

We navigated through it in about 15 minutes, which was just right for our little ones—they had a blast without getting tired.

Gaver Farm is our favorite farm in Maryland and a place where our children have grown up.

The farm is huge and with something new added every year, you can easily spend the entire day at Gavers Farm, enjoying all the activities and attractions.

Check out the photos at the end of the reel from our visits in 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2023 (I missed taking pictures in 2019).

The only downside is that they are only open during the fall so we eagerly await their opening date all year.

casual fall farms

Larriland Farm is one of the best farms I’ve ever visited! Unlike many others focused solely on kids’ activities, this farm offers a refreshing change of pace.

It celebrates all the wonderful aspects of farm life, from picking fruits, flowers, and vegetables to enjoying fall harvest fun.

The layout is fantastic, with designated areas for picking pumpkins, apples, navigating the corn maze, or wandering through sunflower fields. It’s an ideal destination not just for kids but for anyone looking to immerse themselves in fall activities and the joy of picking their own produce.

On Saturdays and Sundays in late September and October, they offer hayrides during the day (9:30am – 4:30pm) which offers a 20 minute wagon ride all over the farm for a small fee.

The farm is essentially a collection of different areas, so just follow the signs to find the activities you’re interested in. And when you go, you must try the apple fritters—they were even better than the apple cider doughnuts in my opinion!
