Table of Contents

Summer is the best time to be a local. Whether you’re in Baltimore, Columbia, Ocean City, or right in the heart of DC, there’s a free outdoor movie within driving distance almost every weekend from now through October.

Tip: Most screenings start at dusk (roughly 8:30–9pm). Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, arrive 30–45 minutes early for a good spot, and check each venue’s website for any weather-related cancellations before heading out.

I’ll keep updating this list all summer as new screenings get announced, so bookmark this page and come back. And if you know of one I missed, hit reply and let me know!

Looking for more things to do this summer? I’ve got you.
