Omega Mart, located within the immersive Area 15 complex in Las Vegas, is an incredible blend of art installation and interactive adventure.
As you step into Omega Mart, you’re greeted by a whimsical world where every corner reveals something new and fascinating. The experience is like navigating through a living art piece, with intriguing exhibits that invite you to touch, explore, and engage. We had so much fun!
Inside, you’ll find a variety of attractions including a karaoke bar, a dueling axes venue, and a nightclub, all contributing to the vibrant atmosphere. A super fun feature is the dining area where you can enjoy a meal at a table that seemingly floats into the sky.
Our kids, ages 6 and 4, were absolutely enthralled by Omega Mart. Each room offered a fresh and exciting discovery. You can spend around 90 minutes simply wandering through and soaking in the sights, or opt for a scavenger hunt card for an additional fee. This game adds a layer of fun and can extend your visit up to six hours, depending on how thoroughly you explore.
Despite some reviews suggesting Omega Mart might not be ideal for younger people, our family found it to be a perfect blend of creativity and enjoyment, and we had a wonderful time experimenting new things and places together.

Visit the Sphere
For families looking for a unique experience, the Planetarium at the science museum is a fascinating option for kids ages 7 and up. However, in my opinion, I would recommend ages 10 and up.
Imagine a planetarium show, but on a grander scale—that’s essentially what you get with the immersive “Postcard from Earth” presentation.
This stunning visual experience showcases nature and the wonders of our planet, making it engaging and educational for older children and adults.
With that being said, it’s important to note that this attraction is best suited for kids who are comfortable sitting still and enjoying a quiet, contemplative environment. So if you have younger children, it might be challenging for them to fully appreciate the show.
Tickets for this experience start at $84 per person, so if your children are able to stay engaged and appreciate the spectacle, go for it! Otherwise, I would recommend waiting a little bit until they are older.
For older kids and adults, this is a one-of-a-kind experience that offers a captivating view of our world, and definitely worth going to see at least once.

Fremont Street and Downtown
We started our evening at the Downtown Container Park, but unfortunately, it closes to anyone under 21 after 8 PM. We had planned to explore the playground later in the evening, so this was an important point to note.
At the park, one of the main attractions is a massive praying mantis sculpture that breathes fire and performs a fire dance every 30 minutes. While I found it pretty neat, my daughter was not a fan and found it a bit frightening. This kind of experience can vary based on your child’s personality, so it’s worth considering their comfort level before visiting.
Afterward, we strolled two blocks down to Fremont Street, which has a colorful TV screen roof and many sights and sounds. The street is alive with sensory experiences: from a dancing gorilla to kids playing the drums.
There are three stages featuring a variety of acts, and you can even catch a glimpse of thrill-seekers ziplining above the crowds. Fremont Street provides a dynamic and immersive atmosphere that stimulates all of your senses!
